The Mirage: A pandemic Dream is a short film by C2G2 Productions. During the COVID-19 quarentine, Cathryn Castle Garcia, and Gui Garcia found themselves social distancing in the Sonoran Desert. There they found some similarities between the desert landscape and the underwater realm, and the idea of a short film was born. The film’s description reads, “An ocean lover finds herself stranded in the Sonoran desert during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. Far from the sea for far too long, the landscape of sand and sea start to blur into a strange mirage. Is it a dream? Or a pandemic nightmare?” Watch the video here.
