Dutch Springs, www.dutchsprings.com is where we conduct all scuba open water training. Dutch Springs is a private property, and is the perfect diving training site in the area. Training is conducted over two days on a weekend. Normally, and depending on the weather, we camp out there in their camping areas, so you are welcomed to bring your own tent, or rent one from Rey Diving. If the weather is not good, or you decide not to camp, there are hotels nearby where you can spend the night on Saturday.
OPEN WATER CHECKOUT DIVES AND CERTIFICATION (LOCALLY AT DUTCH SPRINGS)
We meet at 8:30 am on Saturday at the dive site, set up equipment, and do two training dives. There are facilities in Dutch Springs, such as changing rooms, showers, and a small cafeteria, but on Saturday afternoon, we make a barbeque potluck style, in Dutch Springs, so we get to socialize with other fellow students, and enjoy the evening after the training dives.
On Sunday, we meet again at 8:30 am to complete the final dives 3 and 4, and certification. On Sunday we are done by around 2:00 pm, and ready to head back to the city.
